The House of Bricks celebrates the eighth anniversary
of Say What! by hosting an evening of poetry
and open mic performances on Thursday, March
15 at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $5. The club also
hosts an all-ages concert by Los Angeles rockers
Modern Day Escape (on tour promoting its forthcoming
album, “Under the Gun”) with Switchblade Saturdays,
Darkhorse and Simple Sighs ($12, Ticketfly)
on Sunday, March 18 at 5 p.m. and The Growlers,
