Simple assault at the 1000 block of 33rd Street.
Two women who are neighbors in an apartment
building both were fighting over a light being
on. The woman who filed the official report
wanted the light on, but her neighbor did not.
An argument ensued, and the neighbor followed
the alleged victim up two flights of stairs
before the woman reportedly took a swing at
her. So the woman hit her an unknown number
of times, following her up another flight of
stairs, still hitting her. Due to her pursuit
up the stairs and the injuries sustained by
the reporting party, the neighbor was taken
into custody, and the light presumably remained
on.
