Truman Capote said that Mick Jagger is about
as sexy as a pissing toad. Yes, he was a bit
hard on the aging rocker, but Capote is entitled
to his opinion of sexiness. With leagues of
modern youth singing along with Kesha and Maroon
5 about the Rolling Stone lead singer, Jagger
has again proven his relevance. That, in itself,
is sexy, but that’s my opinion.
More than 1,000 of our readers helped define
sexiness this year, in our third annual Des
Moines’ Sexiest People contest. Some of the
initial nominations were, should we say, awkard?
That’s being kind, but we could not agree more
with the final choices and are proud to present
