Lupe Fiasco performs Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. at Hilton Coliseum in Ames. Tinie Tempah and Sarah Green open. Tickets are $36-$41 through Ticketmaster.

Spineshank, Clandestine, September, Killing the Dream and Engage the Nightmare play an all-ages concert on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 4:45 p.m. at the House of Bricks. Tickets are $15 through Midwestix... Newly announced at the HOB: Potluck, Glasses Malone, Sunspot Jonz, Mistah Fab and J Hornay ($15) on Oct. 13.

The "3 Guitar Heroes Tour" featuring Michael Schenker, Uli Roth and Leslie West, that was scheduled to play at Hoyt Sherman Theater on Oct. 28 has been cancelled. Tickets may be refunded at the point of purchase.

Eighty-five-year old jazz pianist Lee Shaw and bassist Rich Syracuse return to Caspe Terrace in Waukee for a concert on Nov. 5. Tickets are $20 in advance. Call 279-6452.

Just announced at the Vaudeville Mews: Hit the Lights and The Dangerous Summer ($12) on Nov. 5 and Dance Gavin Dance, Isetmyfriendsonfire, A Loss For Words, We Are the Ocean and The Bunny The Bear ($15) on Dec. 8. Tickets are available through Ticketfly.

All Play will host upcoming concerts by three artists with Louisiana ties. They include singer-pianist Marcia Ball (Nov. 30), zydeco singer-squeezebox player Chubby Carrier (Dec. 4) and blues singer-guitarist Tab Benoit (Dec. 14). Advance tickets to each show are $20. CV
