National Night Out


Celebrate "National Night Out," a unique crime/drug prevention event designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for local anti-crime programs and to strengthen community and police partnerships, with the Urbandale Police Department on Tuesday, Aug. 2. The event, located at the Urbandale Police Department, 3740 86th St., takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. The free, family-orientated celebration features a number of activities including a bicycle rodeo, dunk tank, the Urbandale Police K-9 unit, magic show, jump house, the Urbandale Swat team, clowns, a Fire Safety House, Life Flight, numerous handouts from local organizations and free food and drinks. Celebrate six years of 3XW


3XWrestling will not only hold its biggest event of the year, but also the biggest event in the company's history with "6 Year Anniversary Event" on Friday, July 29, at All Play, 615 Third St. This is the organization's 75th event and features three championship matches, the first-ever "Canadian Tuxedo" match, six-man tag team action and two of the top names in women's wrestling battling for the first time.
