Newly announced lineups for summer concert series, including the free stages at the Iowa State Fair, the Des Moines Arts Festival, Jazz in July, Music on the Plaza, Rendezvous on Riverview and updated club calendars can be found in this week's cover story.

The "Revolt Tour," featuring Hollywood Undead, 10 Years, Drive A and New Medicine, plays the Val Air Ballroom on Friday, May 27 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $22.50 through Ticketmaster.

Local hard rock band Calous, which formed in 1997, will perform its final shows on Saturday, May 28 at 9 p.m. at the Maingate Bar and Grill with special guest Slow Intentional Damage (free) and June 4 at 9 p.m. at the House of Bricks with special guests Goat Hill, Cirrus Minor and Freak Label ($7).
