Another Christmas has passed, as perhaps has your chance to buy something authentic for the Maggot in your life. Last week, David Wilkins of Des Moines, a.k.a. DaVo, tried selling on eBay a folding card table with an opening bid of $400 that Slipknot used when it signed a contract with Roadrunner Records in 1998. Wilkins was friends with the band from its start and used the table for the band’s marathon games of Risk it played in the recording studio. A photo of the band singing the contract at Wilkins’ former Axiom studio was posted with the online auction, which expired without a buyer. CV
