Dec. 4-5, 9 a.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Burglary in the 3300 block of Vilura Parkway. The victim stated he walked out to his garage that morning and discovered that someone had entered through the unlocked walk-through door and took a snowblower, weedeater and battery charger, valued at an unknown amount. The suspect(s) left behind several other hand tools and a second snowblower inside the garage. Officers believed it’s likely the suspect(s) pulled their vehicle into the victim’s driveway to load the items. There are no suspect(s) at this time.

 

Dec. 5, 1:57 a.m.

Assault with a weapon in the 1000 block of East University. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who was lying on the ground with a laceration above his left eye and was bleeding from his nose. The victim reported he was attacked by a group of people and was hit with a beer bottle. The victim could not give a description of the suspect(s) and was not able to provide any additional information. Officers were unable to locate the suspect(s).

 

Dec. 5, 5:12 p.m.

Assault causing injury in the 1100 block of 24th Street. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who was bleeding and screaming obscenities. The victim said that he went outside his apartment when the suspect began taunting him verbally and refusing to let him pass. The victim said the suspect tapped him on the forehead with his finger, so he shoved the suspect. The suspect retaliated and punched the victim in the nose. The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction. Officers were unable to locate the suspect. CV
