Residents and business owners who suffered losses in the 32 counties, which a Presidential Disaster Declaration has been issued for, can register for assistance online at www.disasterassistance.gov or by calling (800) 621-FEMA (3362). Individual Assistance can include grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individual and business owners recover from the effects of the disaster. Applicants registering for aid should be prepared to provide basic information about themselves, details on insurance coverage, and any other information to help substantiate losses. CV
