May 10-11

 

May 10, 4:15 to 11:34 p.m.
Burglary in the 3700 block of Martin Luther King Parkway. Officers visited with the victim who stated that when he returned from work he noticed his apartment door had been broken. The victim also noticed that several items had been moved from his bedroom to the living room. The victim thought his neighbors were possibly the suspects, but a search by law enforcement did not find any evidence to support the claim. There are no suspect(s) at this time.

 

May 11, 8:47 a.m.
Domestic assault in the 2100 block of East Virginia Avenue. The victim reported she went to an apartment complex to speak with the father regarding his attempt to obtain “services” for the children from the Department of Human Services. The victim said when she arrived, the suspect was seated in her vehicle in the parking lot. The suspect became angry and slapped her across the face causing a bloody lip. The suspect then tried to pull her into the car, which lead her to hit her back on the steering wheel. Officers observed a bloody lip as well as an injured leg from the incident. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.

 

May 11, 10:11 a.m.
Robbery in the 4000 block of Fleur Drive. An alleged young, white male entered the store, walked around and then picked up two bottles of alcohol. A clerk notified another employee and both witnessed the male hiding the alcohol. One employee grabbed the suspect’s sweatshirt, but he would not stop. The suspect fell in the parking lot but was able to flee in an unknown direction. Officers were unable to locate the suspect. CV

 

Busted

Name: Kelly Parisho
The story: Officers met with the victim who stated that her ex-boyfriend, later identified as Parisho, came over to her apartment because he wanted some tickets back. After the victim told Parisho that she wasn’t giving them back, he entered his Jeep. The victim said Parisho then exited his Jeep, grabbed her by the chest and threw her to the ground. Witnesses also saw the assault and stopped Parisho from hurting the victim anymore. Witnesses also stated they saw Parisho grab the victim and at one point had his arms around her neck. Officers were able to locate Parisho, who stated he grabbed the victim because she was banging on the vehicle. Parisho was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Polk County Jail and charged with assault.
