This week at the Val Air Ballroom: Rappers Tech N9ne, Brotha Lynch Hung, Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, Big Scoob, Prozak and Cognito perform Thursday, May 13 at 8 p.m. On Friday, May 14, Korn, 2 Cents and Calous perform at 8 p.m. The show was originally scheduled to be held in Waterloo. Then on Sunday, May 16, Cobra Starship/3OH!3, Travie McCoy and I Fight Dragons perform at 7 p.m. Tickets to each show are $25 through the box office or Ticketmaster. .... “Creole for Kidz and the History of Zydeco,” featuring a performance by Grammy Award-winning Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience Band, will be held Saturday, May 15 at 1 p.m. at the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines. Tickets are $10 through Ticketmaster.
