Restaurant faces of the week
Name: Kyl Cabbage
Restaurant: Maxie’s
Position and years of experience: General Manager with more than 30 years of experience.
Fun fact/hidden talent: I’m a Certified Specialist in Wine by the Society of Wine Educators. I’ve been nuts about wine since I was 20. Also I love to fish, especially for muskies.
Where do you like to eat when not at Maxie’s? At home. We have family dinner every Sunday.
What is your favorite food to eat here? It depends on the day. The steak is always good. The filet is my favorite. But I also love the scallops.
What is your establishment known for? Good food, great people and friendly service. At Maxie’s family is number one and always has been, and I’m excited to keep that tradition alive.
Anything else you would like to add? I’m super excited to be here; Maxie’s has been in my life for a very long time. I used to ride my bike by here to go to school. I’m looking forward to meeting new people and making friends here.
